Middlewich is getting ready for it’s annual Folk & Boat festival.

The town is in full swing with preparations for this years Folk & Boat which is expected to be bigger than ever!


Friday night’s headliners are rock band Toploader with pop group Showaddywaddy taking over the stage on Saturday night.
What’s more, Saturday night’s show is FREE to attend!

Events Manager, Dave Thompson has teased a few more details:

“One of the latest additions is the St Luke’s Busking Bus which will be parked in the town wharf during the festival.

The bus will host a performance by the Lostock Ukulele Group and a number of local performers including the Northwich Pop Choir and the new band For Lack of a Better Name.”

“We always want to go one better than the year before and with a host of top music acts and attractions lined up for 2019 we’re hopeful this will be our best yet”

Many businesses are taking precautions for the weather. The Kinderton & Kings Lock pub both have large marquees ready for the weekend.
Additionally there is expected to be lots of music and entertainment filling the pubs over the weekend.
